Oily facial skin can be a blessing, because the milk (sebum) secreted from the sebaceous glands keeps it with a relative high moisture level.

The skin is shiny with oil and is prone to getting more blackheads and pimples than other skin types.

People with oily facial skin should not use any moisturizer. The main product types that should be used with oily skin are cleansers – it is very important to clean your skin and prevent the processes that cause sores, pimples and acne.
In general, it is important to use subtle skin care products, and obviously you shouldn’t use oils that are suitable for oily skin. Use your cleanser gently and in accordance with this important rule – Do not clean your skin more than twice a day. Over Cleaning your facial skin can cause damage and lead to the opposite effect you aspire to it.
It is recommended to clean the skin gently and not in an aggressive manner, with delicate cleansers approved by your national Ministry of Health and that have a balanced PH level.
Dry Skin Advantages
Dry skin does not get as many blackheads and pimples as other skin types do. It never appears to be shiny or causes makeup to clog up around the nose or nostrils.

Dry skin itches, feels tight, and can be quite uncomfortable.
Dry Skin Natural Treatment
Bananas are a good nutrition solution for dry facial skin. All you need to do is take a fresh ripe banana and mash it with a fork until the mixture is uniform. Add a teaspoon of honey to the mix as well. Apply the paste on the dry skin and wait until it dries out. Once the paste is dry, rinse with cold water.
Milk also has great qualities for moisturizing your skin. Warm 2 tablespoons of fresh milk and apply on your face in circular motions, the milk should be warm but not too hot so you don’t get burned. Leave the milk on the skin for a few minutes and then rinse with cool water. You will feel the difference immediately.
The skin care qualities of Avocado are well known. Mash one fresh avocado, mix it with honey and lemon and rub the paste on your face. Leave the paste until it starts drying and wash well with warm water.
Olive oil is also known to be highly effective for skin care. Apply a few drops of olive oil, using cotton wool on your face. Leave it on for a few minutes before you remove it using cold water.
Normal Skin Advantages
This type of skin is radiant. It appears to have a healthy glow, and has small pores that are barely visible, if visible at all. People with this skin type can use any cleansers they choose without their skin feeling or looking damaged by them. The individuals with this skin type rarely suffer from pimples or blackheads.
Normal Skin Disadvantages
There is no disadvantage to having perfectly normal skin. This skin type is generally found on young people, and that is the only disadvantage. Young people do not realize how blessed they are to have this type of skin until they get older, their skin changes, and they are no longer able to use any cleaner and any moisturizers.
Sensitive Skin Advantages
Sensitive skin has no real advantages. People with this skin type have to be very careful about how they treat their skin.
Sensitive Skin Disadvantages
People who have sensitive skin have to use products especially designed with no perfumes in them so that the skin is not irritated. People with this type of skin generally have to pay a lot more for their skincare products because they need specialized products.
Sensitive skin recommended Treatment
- Avoid using treatments with “active” ingredients or too hot (including hot showers or sauna).
- Avoid oily and sealing products, partly due to the warming effect.
- Protect the skin from free radicals, smoking and environmental pollution.
- Adopt a treatment plan based on a limited number of skin care products, mainly soothing, to get immediate relief and long-term benefits.
- Use EXFOLIATION products for light peeling, exfoliation is important and is especially recommended for this skin type group. The exfoliation role is to remove dandruff excess that tends to accumulate on the skin, or strengthen the red thin skin and thicken it gradually.
- Regarding Sun exposure – if done in moderation, it has the power to benefit some types of sensitive skin conditions. However, for other types it is recommended to avoid exposure as much as possible.

The only real advantage to having combination skin is that you are not constantly bothered with dry skin itching and tautness.

The people with this skin type have to treat the oily areas of their skin with one type of cleanser and the dry skin areas with different products. They have to pay more for their skin care products because they need double the amount that people with just one skin type has.
